Tommy Lee Jones, Box Office Star

Tommy Lee Jones, honoree of the Monterrey Film Festival 2008, is a box office star. Who says Will Smith is the biggest box office draw? Or Tom Cruise used to be the "it boy"? What about Tommy Lee Jones? Not only is he as charming as those two kids but he is a much more interesting actor.

With all the buzz (and well deserved) for the current Dark Knight characters, why not speak of Tommy Lee Jones' Two Face? Or remember him in Men In Black? The Fugitive? The Client? Double Jeopardy? Space Cowboys? Volcano? All blockbusters!!

Just check out the numbers yourself. Tommy Lee Jones Box Office Numbers.

And he has an Oscar, for his supporting role in "The Fugitive". And he was worked with the late Robert Altman, Oliver Stone, the Coen Brothers and many more.

What an honor for Monterrey to gave him in our city.

Thank you Mr. Jones!!!

It is truly an honor and yes, he´s been in many blockbusters, but Tommy has chosen to stay aside from Hollywood, by living in Texas. Talking about Batman wont be a good idea, it wasn´t good for Nicholson, now many believe that Ledger did a much better job than the veteran actor. The same could be said of Eckhart and Jones. The problem is not the actors and you can´t really compare their performances. The scripts goal of those films, as well as the director´s proposal was way different from Nolan´s perspective. I would love to see Nicholson and Jones under the direction of Nolan for those characters and then say which one did a better job

Felicidades por tener a gente tan importante en éste festival, felicidades por esforzarse en llamar la atención internacional, les deseo lo mejor, pero si se supone que es un festival para nuestra ciudad, para nuestro México, ¿por qué chingados esta todo en inglés?
