Tommy Lee Jones, honoree of the Monterrey Film Festival 2008, is a box office star. Who says Will Smith is the biggest box office draw? Or Tom Cruise used to be the "it boy"? What about Tommy Lee Jones? Not only is he as charming as those two kids but he is a much more interesting actor.With all the buzz (and well deserved) for the current Dark Knight characters, why not speak of Tommy Lee Jones' Two Face? Or remember him in Men In Black? The Fugitive? The Client? Double Jeopardy? Space Cowboys? Volcano? All blockbusters!!

Tommy´s the best!!!
It is truly an honor and yes, he´s been in many blockbusters, but Tommy has chosen to stay aside from Hollywood, by living in Texas. Talking about Batman wont be a good idea, it wasn´t good for Nicholson, now many believe that Ledger did a much better job than the veteran actor. The same could be said of Eckhart and Jones. The problem is not the actors and you can´t really compare their performances. The scripts goal of those films, as well as the director´s proposal was way different from Nolan´s perspective. I would love to see Nicholson and Jones under the direction of Nolan for those characters and then say which one did a better job
I'm so looking forward to meet Tommy Lee Jones, he is such a great actor and his many performances are fantastic. What an honor to have him at Monterrey! Thanks for this "Monterrey Film Festival"
