AUDIENCE JURY

The Monterrey International Film Festival is pleased to present, for its 2008 edition, the call for entries to be part of the Audience Jury that will select the Audience Award for one of the 14 feature films included in the Festival’s Official Selection (fiction and documentary)

This call for entries is directed to the State of Nuevo Leon’s audience and will be open from the publication date through June 27th, 2008.

JURY COMPOSITION

The jury will be composed of 50 members of the State of Nuevo Leon’s community, regardless of profession or occupation.

ELIGIBILITY REQUISITES

-Eighteen years of age or older.

-Resident of the State of Nuevo León.

-Complete availability from 3:00 pm on in order to watch 2 feature films each day from August 16th to 22nd, and attend a voting session on the morning of August 23rd.

-Submit a registration form and answer the selection questions

-Sign a Letter of Intent

-Attend a training session on Wednesday July 23rd, at 7:00 pm.

-The people selected will be notified in a timely manner.

BENEFITS

The Festival will award each jury member accreditation to attend the screenings free of charge and other events organized by the Festival.

Invitation to the Festival’s gala events.
The jury members’ names will be listed in the Festival’s catalogue.

Festival promotional kit.

Participation diploma.

NOTES:

Any situation unforeseen in this call for entries will be resolved by the Organizing Committee of the Festival.

The Official Selection consists on fourteen feature films, seven feature fiction films and seven feature documentary films. The award will be given to only one of these fourteen films.
